Be aware that it has been brought to our attention that there may be a person rummaging through your trash once it is placed on the curb for pickup to find items that might be worth value to them.  In speaking with the police department it was determined that it is not illegal to rummage through trash once it is placed at the curb. 

With identity theft being a major issue these days we highly recommend that you consider shredding all personal information you may be currently placing in your trash for pick up.
